Description
The DOVE AIWB is a married appendix carry holster/mag carrier combo. It is designed to be carried over the pelvic bone or bladder, under clothing, specifically with a rigid belt. The thin profile and flatter body-side of The Dove, combined with the flexibility of full grain Hermann Oak leather, provide a comfortable as well as functional option for concealed carry.
The full grain American Hermann Oak leather is hand-dyed in marbled gunmetal with black charred-edge effect on the main body, and the mouth and mag reinforcement panel (RP) is cowhide, with a luxurious American Alligator belly overlay. The thread is a dark gray and the anodized aluminum finishing washers are a flat black.
The magazine carrier has an adjustable retention point to provide a snug fit after break-in. The belt attachments used are RCS overhook struts and Mod-Wing concealment claw. The mag-side overhook employs a solid spacer to help with concealment and comfort.
This holster will also accomodate the Staccato C2, but may need adjusting on the retention screw on the reinforcement portion.
- Because of the placement of the belt attachments on Dove AIWB, it may be necessary to wear your belt with the buckle to the side, at about 10:00 if your naval is 12:00, or over your left side pocket. Appendix carry can have a learning curve, and frankly, it isn’t for everyone. The Dove AIWB is recommended for those familiar with appendix carry, who are looking for a more comfortable or elegant option.
This Dove AIWB is model specific, designed only to accomodate the Staccato CS. It will accomodate most optics, but not Trijicon SRO or RMR-HD. Only available for right hand at this time.
