This Artist Series piece goes back to the 90s when I was introduced to Predator by my big brother. I still say 2 was better than 1, but 2 wouldn't be anything without 1. AVP would have been better if it wasn't so digital. Just give me big people in costumes again... Predators was actually pretty good. The Predator was dumb. Prey was good- I was afraid they'd just get worse, but no. Badlands was cute- a good introduction film for teens, but they wouldnt get it.
For a CZ Shadow 2 Compact. The City Hunter is represented by a River Access AIWB in charred Spanish brown base, streaks of black, splatters of OD green, and Space-mission finish for that fishnet covered amphibious skin. Here is my OWB entry for Untooled Holster category Here is my OWB entry for Untooled Holster category in the World Leather Debut 2026. This Stage 5 Clinger is crafted from Hermann Oak veg-tan, hand-dyed in a marbled Cordovan main exterior shell, natural veg-tan internal lining, lizard skin overlays on the mouth reinforcement and body shield, stitched with chestnut thread. I elected to use cowhide as the main body, because exotic materials can not only contribute to errors, but distract from mistakes in stitching and molding. I avoided offering this holster style for 7 years just because it was making me too anxious to dedicate the material necessary to find out if I could figure it out, much less practice it and perfect it. For me, this style, often called the Snap-Cake, is the pinnacle of anxiety in this trade. Now, I offer it, but I make it worth my while. This style was the same holster style that won me the blue ribbon in my last time participating in the competition, but I've taken criticism from the judges to heart, and I can positively say this is the absolute best example of flawless technique and execution that I can offer at my current level.

This is my IWB entry sent to Sheridan, WY for judg This is my IWB entry sent to Sheridan, WY for judgement in the World Leather Debut 2026. It is my updated version of the entry that won me my first blue ribbon. River Access AIWB with BitterLoops in Pooled Spruce main, smooth lined interior, stitched sight channel rails, shark skin overlays on the belt loops and mouth reinforcement, black thread and hardware. Sig P226 NAVY Scavenger OWB I made 3 holsters to Sig P226 NAVY Scavenger OWB
I made 3 holsters to consider for the World Leather Debut 2026 leathercrafting competition in Sheridan. I sent 2 for judgement. Here is the one I didn't send.

This one was a demonstration of complex technical and creativity. A shell layer of smooth lined Hermann Oak veg-tan, dyed black. The mouth reinforcement and belt tunnel is a base layer of Hermann Oak for structure, overlaid with Stone Gray Cape Buffalo from Zimbabwe, then INLAID with cordovan ostrich leg skin. There is also ostrich leg inlays on the body shield and on the wing of the holster under the belt slot.

This holster was an intense undertaking and it was a blast to hyper-focus on this for the build time. While it is complex in nature, there is a visible flaw- one I've lost points for before, and even cost me a championship 5 years ago. This flaw is the un-even spacing between the stitching. The spacing between holes by the belt slot is further apart, while the spacing in the corner of the trigger guard and the rail are more condensed. This is from the leathers being thicker at the trigger area, the tight turn in the stitching pattern, the holster resisting staying closed because its just a lot of material to fold, and at the end of the day, less than perfection from me in execution... and if I am not going to win first this year, it isn't going to be because of something that's cost me the title before.

Its an incredible, ALMOST perfect holster.

He said 'do what you want and make it professional and classy'. River Access AIWB in black main with chocolate Cape Buffalo overlay RP, chestnut thread and copper washers. For an HK P7M8. Don't quote me on this, but I have a feeling I'm going to be making more of these.
